Living Arts continues its partnership with the Carr Center in Detroit. Living Arts students will engage with Detroit-area high school students and lead a workshop centered around creativity, creative process, and the intersection of diciplines.



Grand Rapids Art Museum Tour
Saturday February 22nd
Grand Rapids, MI, 9am-4:30pm

Spend a day immersed in art and architecture at the Grand Rapids Art Museum, the world's first LEED Gold Certified Art Museum. This trip will include a special tour of the GRAM's collection and its green features with Andrea Morgan, Docent and Group Tours Senior Coordinator, as well as a contemporary art "looking lab" with Lauren Fretz, Education Specialist for ArtsEngine and a2ru at the University of Michigan. Restless Creature

Wendy Whelan, "America's most celebrated contemporary ballerina" (The New York Times) makes her UMS debut, joining forces with four of today's top male choreographers, Kyle Abraham, Joshua Beamish, Brian Brooks, and Alejandro Cerrudo. She embarks on a new dance adventure with this vibrant suite of four contemporary duets, each with its own distinct style and artistry and performed by the choreographers who created them.
